I think so but I believe that Judge Dredd and NBA T.E. are combined onto one Genesis competition cartridge.

I would like to make covers for all three plus Star Fox Competition BUT I will make them using my template.
other templates will have to be made by someone else.

I've just tested my template design and actual snes boxes can be sized to fit nicely into my design. Unlike the vertical templates being used here, one will not have to stretch images or fill in missing artwork in order to make a cover. I used a little basic math and voila! the dimensions are correct.

the design is not finished but i'll make sure that we can make it more difficult for ya  ;)
printing covers does not require large sizes either.
noone said my covers will be posted here  :)

you always say easily but you never do it yourself.
i remember you saying that dkc competition cover is easy but where is your cover?
easy for others.  :P

It is easy for me too, it's just that my attention span and that I can get the dropshadow on text look good enough.
I constantly put the front images to the Vertical template... it goes well... hey look a bird.... goes to eat or watch TV.
Then I put the screenshots... so far so good... then title logos... no problem usually... then legal text, SNS code and barcode... easy peasy.
Then I type or locate the back text and fail to get it look good and decide to return to try later again..
Then I forget the cover and it get burried somewhere.

I have plenty of half finished covers (usually missing back texts or some minor tweaking) on my external hard drive somewhere... 100+ including what was DKCC but your new image is better so I might eventually return to finish mine up.. :D

And then there is the thing called life and work = little time to concentrate. You know what I mean. ;)

Wait.. what..?

I don't care for credit, I'm already full powered Cover Admin... ;D ::)

I post requested covers only to forums and always tell from who's covers I have used parts.

If I see cover that is site worthy, I will/would post it under the creator's name even if I have altered it.

SO CHILLAX DUUUUDE!!!!

I lost my upload to the site password when my PC fried, but have since managed to recover it.
So hopefully I soon have time to go thru covers (yours included) and post them to the site UNDER YOUR NAME if they are site worthy or require only minor tweaking. 8)

I think someone needs to get some sleep.  ::)

I like you noeman, and I like your stuff.  But coming along and slagging off existing templates that people have put a lot of work into, just because you don't care for them, is not the way to get people on side.

Sleep it off, and come back the friendly noeman that we like to see.

problem solved.  >:(

There was no problem.

I'm just so heavily invested in Vertical style that I cannot switch to your new cover style, hence I need tradional style covers.

I never said your new style is not good.
It is, so please don't deny us your great contributions.

You are one of the few great cover makers that actually listen what we needfrom our covers.

So I'm deeply sorry if I offended you.

i'm not mad at you or sheep. I like you both very much.
if i were offended i would've made a reply.

my point is that i cannot design covers for these verticals when i hate them so much. it's not an attack at shenske or his design. the covers look good. i saw them years ago on Google results which led me to join the site. but as a cover maker, i have a difficult time making verticals. the size is not right. i would need additional artwork in many cases. i am picky about my work. i decided to make an alternate template for people. i don't see the big deal about a new look for covers. i have an easier time making the artwork for my template design because the dimensions are more accurate. smaller, yes, but easier to match to original artwork.

anyway, i am at a crossroads. i have trouble working with verticals. i cannot stress myself out over it anymore. yet noone seems willing to accept a new look. why not contribute to a new look? wiggy makes his own templates and noone gets mad about it.
what to do?
i never liked the gray box on snes boxes. i always hated the red color on black too. the vertical templates keep this look which also annoys me. i would think that if Nintendo made a modern box for snes games, then the new box would not have a red logo on black. i cannot believe that Nintendo would keep that gray box either.

cover making helps me deal with stress of life. having a newborn baby can be very stressful.
i prefer to work with a template that has better dimensions because i can add stress to my day when i have to fight to make something work. i'd rather relax and slip into a cover making coma.

anyway, i need to feed my Son soon. logging off for now.
i want to work on the StarFox competition logo.

Even if no one accepts your new look (which I don't think is the case) it really doesn't matter as long as you enjoy doing it.   :D  If it relieves stress, keep doing it.  I converted a bunch of Genesis covers over into a style that I prefer for myself.  I don't think anyone else will ever use those covers, but it doesn't matter, because I love the way they look on my shelf, and I really enjoyed the conversions (it really does relieve stress somehow).

It's funny though, when I was converting fun games like any of the Sonic games, I really enjoyed it and got a lot of fun out of it.  When I was converting the sports games, it was more like work.  Both types required the same amount of effort, but the Sonic games were the real stress relievers.  ;D
Maybe, just once, someone will call me "sir" without adding, "you're making a scene."
