Hello again, i was not happy with the first verticals that i have uploaded. I was tired of working on them so much. I didn't do a good job on the back cover and the code was incorrect. I believe that the correct code is SNS FU and not SNS FO (original StarFox code). Also, the text is too large so i couldn't fit the swc logo. I've made the necessary adjustments for a better version. I would delete the original version but we'll let it go for historical purposes. Anyway, here is the new version:

Super StarFox Weekend Competition vertical 01

And the corresponding horizontal version:
Super StarFox Weekend Competition horizontal 01

Now i am moving on from this cover project. unless, i have another idea someday.

the StarFox logo helped me learn how to use PhotoImpact to my artistic advantage. Thus, i started working on other logos that i've wanted for years. I finished Drakkhen from scratch and the indigo outline of Brandish is complete. I'm pretty happy about the results. The images are around 2000 pixels and objects. Not only do i have clean logos more accurate than the vectors floating around but they are objects. I remade the screen captures for Drakkhen years ago. Now i have the screen captures and the logo. Excellent!

I also started Dragon View.

I decided to up my game and try character objects from scratch. I started making Donald in Maui Mallard logo today (1600x1600 pixels) and i all ready started a DK recreation (2000 pixels).

Donald as objects and merged as a single object:

DK face and eyes underway:

also, someone sent me a pm asking for a universal game case horizontal version of perhaps StarFox Competition (they didn't specify a game.) I thought that the Shenske horizontal template was UGC template. Is there a UGC snes template besides the one that i used?

I finished the Donald in Maui Mallard logo and i began recreating the cover images. I'm very happy with the results. I am not a fake artist (one to use software to make vector from tracing a bitmap), I have actually won awards and been featured in a newspaper for my artistic drawing skills. Very few bitmap tracers can say that they are actual award winning artists. I laugh at idiots on the internet that can't even draw a straight line on paper but act like they are artists. LOL. Anyway, i am still trying to bring my artistic skills to the pc/digital world. I have alot to learn but i'm getting better at using my tablet and software.

I need to finish drawing the characters, then focus on shading, colors, lighting etc. I have always wanted a clean version of this game art. I like Maui Mallard. The logo looks very nice but it still needs some tweaking.

Best wishes and stay healthy.

Very nice! I had no idea the PAL and JPN versions of Maui Mallard had better logos than the boring US version! I've only ever seen the US game before:

https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/snes/588473-maui-mallard-in-cold-shadow/images/185672

If you combine both titles you get:
Disney's Donald (Duck) in Maui Mallard in Cold Shadow.

I wonder why the US version tried to "hide" that it was Donald Duck. Was he hiding his secret identity from US game players as well??

Hi Mario, i usually like the Euro covers better but once in awhile the US cover is better. In the case of Maui Mallard, the US cover is equally nice. The name Cold Shadow is stupid in my opinion. The name of the game is Maui Mallard but naturally a business must protect its trademarks so Donald needs to be mentioned, thus Donald in Maui Mallard is, in fact, a better name for the game. Anyway, the Cold Shadow logo is very simple to recreate, so i have no interest in this logo at this point in time. I made the C in less than a minute with a shadow:

I've shifted my attention to other game logos that i've wanted for years. Such as Tom and Jerry in Infurnal Escape. I really like this game and i have played it many times on the actual DS system.

EDIT:
I've finished more of this logo in an hour, so i'm getting faster. Logo is almost finished.

this logo requires more time to reproduce but i'm done with Tom and Jerry part.

I'm getting faster and better at digital art (art on pc with no paper and pencil but not trace bitmap or other non artist tools). I reproduced a Sylvester image from a GameBoy manual yesterday in two hours (about the amount of time it should take to complete this image at 2700+ pixels).

Sylvester is around 2737 pixels but i'm not posting my original work for pirates. Sylvester is not my trademark. Neither is Donald or Tom and Jerry. The copyrights will exists for quite some ime and may be renewed in 100 years or so. Anyway, the Sylvester looks good and my reproduction speed has reached an acceptable artistic level. yay! Pocket Monsters cover is also on my radar.

You, sir, are a true artist. Great job! I can barely draw a stick figure. Anyway, yeah the US Maui artwork is nice, but the logo and title itself is what I was referring to as boring. Wonder if Capcom still had the Disney rights in the US and something prevented them from mentioning Donald or Disney on the box (besides the company logo)? Similar to when Roger Rabbit and Mickey Mouse had to be changed into Bugs Bunny in the US.

Hi Mario, the Tom and Jerry logo became very difficult to complete. I had to battle all of the cardboard pocks and printer dots to see the fine details of the Infurnal Escape wordmark. I think that my final version is superb but i can't see enough details to make it 100% accurate. Atleast i can finally see a large clean version of this logo. I am so happy to have this logo now. Another logo on my list is Castleween but i'm taking a break from logo making for now. I'm tired.

Best wishes and stay healthy.

Hey @spieler, sorry for the delay man.  Will be scanning the card very soon.

Between Covid, work, a MrBeast video, misplacing the card... I have found it and can get this small project done.

Again, sorry for the delay.
