ok TDIRunner, here is the link to the zip file: http://www.mediafire.com/download/5gxvz4dt7g5c4ym/apps.zip inside is ImgBurn 2.5.7 or such and an old version of InfraRecorder (i think that is the name.) i use Comodo firewall since 2010 or so. Comodo alerts me that ImgBurn app Apnstub attempts a connection to the internet during setup. I simply suggest that you disconnect from the internet during installation. Hopefully your firewall allows you to run this version. Otherwise try IR. I have to go now. lots to do today. let me know how it goes please. be back later ... |

Thanks again. ;D I'll let you know how it goes. |

just got home. i only slept 3 hours this morning, so i am tired [sigh] i am going to try to nap a bit this evening. anyway, i usually save copies of open source software. i've had those on my drive since last year or two years ago. i also keep copies of linux, windows and all of the critical updates for windows xp-through-7. i have a large folder named software on my drive. i don't burn images anymore since external drives are available but i keep copies of imgburn/ir just to make sure i have something for burning. i hope that you can get this one to work. it is the only version that i have on my drive. i'll check later to see how it goes... |
