Do anyone collect for the Xbox One?

Why is it called the Xbox one? I remember when it first came out and I didn't even know the exact name, thought it was a 720 or something. I was talking to my friend at the supermarket about PS4 and the cashier asked me if I had an Xbox One. I told him that I had a 360, not the first one. Then later on I realized that he was actually talking about the new Xbox. Because I thought he was just out of touch when he asked me if I had an Xbox One. That really wasn't the best name.

Because it was *supposed* to be an all in one entertainment system, with video games, replacing your cable box, blu ray player, stereo, etc. All in one, Xbox One.

It's not a very good all in one to me. The last dvd I tried to watch in it it kept erroring and not playing. So I watched it through my 360. You need the kinect otherwise there are some options (that shouldn't need it) won't work unless you have it.
Plus it doesn't get me free cable.

But I agree. I don't want a game that I cannot read. Takes the fun out of playing for me.

Wait. Why did you think it would give you free cable?!?! Also in the UI you can in fact get around without the Kinect. It just sucks.
