Rise of the triad and heretic were the best for me at that time. |

I'm not much of a PC gamer, but this is one of the games that I want to try and get and older DOS computer setup to play this game again (along with Dark Forces and Duke Nukem 3D). I played the hell out of those games back in the day. --- End quote --- Yeah, it's just sad that there isn't a console port that was a direct port that holds up. Though an alternative might be to overclock a copy of Doom on the SNES and play it using the mouse. But I do highly recommend a retro PC setup to play DOS games, and there are so many that are awesome. You can find a old DOS machine for next to nothing. And most of the games aren't bad either. --- Quote from: sheep2001 on August 11, 2015, 12:32:57 PM ---Rise of the triad and heretic were the best for me at that time. --- End quote --- Two awesome classic PC games. |

I've been wanting to do it for a while now. I'm 99% sure I still have all of my old PC games. Just need a computer to play them. For the record, I did get Dark Forces to play through a DOS emulator a while back, but if possible, I would prefer to play it on real hardware (just like I do with my video game consoles). |
