What's the best Nintendo handheld?

This is a list of each Nintendo handheld with a list of what types of games the system will play.

Portable System (Games Played)
Game Boy  (GB)
Game Boy Pocket (GB)
Game Boy Light (GB)
Game Boy Color (GBC / GB)
Game Boy Advance (GBA / GBC / GB)
Game Boy Advance SP (GBA / GBC / GB)
Game Boy Micro (GBA)

DS (DS / GBA)
DS Lite (DS / GBA)
DSi (DS)
DSi XL (DS)
3DS (3DS / DS)
3DS XL (3DS / DS)
2DS (3DS without 3D functionality / DS)
New 3DS (3DS / DS) Some 3DS games will only work on New 3DS or New 3DS XL
New 3DS XL (3DS / DS) Some 3DS games will only work on New 3DS or New 3DS XL

OH man that's too many handhelds. I thought it was just Gameboy, Gameboy Color/ Advanced, DS, 2DS, and 3DS

To play all get:
- GBA (original with light mod, or SP model) so you can play GB, GBC and GBA games.
- New 3DS (I prefer XL model, but if your hands are small normal version better then) so you can play DS, DSi, 3DS and New 3DS games.

If you like playing games on TV there is solution for GB, GBC and GBA games: Get Gamecube + Game Boy Player, and for better playing experience get SNES controller and adapter that let's you connect it to Gamecube.
For DS range there is no such solution.
