I have been converting my own as needed but understand someone is in the process of converting all of them. I don't see any posts. Is this still happening? Can we download whats already converted? If no one is working on this, or making them available, maybe we should start a thread.

Thanks,

Tom

I'm sure whomever is doing these conversions has good reason for waiting until they are all done. But i think it would avoid duplicate work if they were posted as they were finished. Or maybe just provide a link to the share where they are all located.

The one converting is doing not only the converting them but also upgrading the covers to meet current standards, see:

I think by waiting until Shenske is 100% complete, we are more likely to have good uniformity all around.

We have to be patient, but it will be worth the wait.
Maybe, just once, someone will call me "sir" without adding, "you're making a scene."

I totally get it. I just have an immediate need for some covers as we stopped using UGCs on our store. So all the games that go on the shelves now are in the Shadowfox cases. So i am modifying art to fit. I wont post what I am doing so i don't disrupt the work of Shenske. It would just be nice to be able to access them as they are created.

I'm in the process of converting them all. I would strongly prefer to release them all at once. Not only does it provide consistency but I have been making additional alterations to games that i have already converted.

For Example: If i find out there is another game in the series later on in the alphabet I try to have those spine logos line up. I may have to update the original cover to make them line up properly. I don't want someone to already print the first version and have to print it again or have it look bad next to the other one.
Another Example: I went through ~5 or 6 Capcom games before deciding to remake them all using the EXACT same color blue on each one.

it'll be worth the wait  ;D ... I'm over 400 now

Any chance that you are including the Everdrive N8 as part of the conversion?

This guy is ready for a new case.  ;)

(P.S.  I still plan on making a red cart with one of your labels, but since it came with a free label from SAG, I figured that one would look better in a grey cart for now)

The first thing is one of the most annoying things in early nes games.  The lack of a consistant naming scheme.  I loath that it's Zelda II: The Adventure of Link instead of "The Legend of Zelda: Adventure of Link".

I did the same thing with my blue capcom covers.  I made one cover where I remade that blue border and the yellow back box and I've been using them on all appropriate Capcom games.  I kind of want to do all of the capcom games on those reguardless to if that was how the stock covers were.  One reason I've been putting off doing the mega man series.  Also makes the ultra games annoying.  They are (atleast the scans I've looked at) a different range of blue grey-green grey.

Eventually yes. I have not made a cover to begin with for it yet so i have nothing to convert. I'll make one eventually but it'll be after i finish my current crop of available covers. I also have average scans for a handful of titles that, to my knowledge, have never had covers made for them. I will work on those ones first things after i convert these.

I completely understand and can relate. I always put Zelda II under "L" and i named the cover file that way too.  My personal collection is 98% alphabetical with the exception of games in a series like Zelda and Wizards & Warriors (I put Ironsword under "W").

Hence made quick alterations to these spines of the 2 covers mentioned before printing:
- Re-arranged the spine texts in the Ironsword so the Wizards and Warriors 2 text is above the Ironsword text.
- Added text Legend of Zelda II above the Adventures of Link text.

The alterations were poorly done and files have been lost, but I might redo them properly so the alteration goes to back and front as well later on when you have done all the other improvements for the covers.
