A craigslist seller was selling NA mint in box Amiibo for about $20 each. He has a pretty large list including Rosalina, Ness, Dedede, Meta Knight, etc. I ended up grabbing a Ness and Marth for $20 each. I would have preferred to buy at retail, but I'm happy to have these in my hands - especially Ness. I also decided to upgrade my Xbox One hard drive so that I can have all of my games installed at the same time (in case I just want to pop and play). Sale at Amazon plus a $25 gift cared got a 4TB HD for $85. So far I really love it. And it also increases my load times with games I have played. If anybody lives in the San Diego area, he may have a few more as the Craigslist ad is still up as of this writing...the link only shoes 3 characters, but after contacting him he gave me a much longer list http://sandiego.craigslist.org/csd/vgm/5178107846.html |

Do the games immediately work 100% of the time (or close to it?) --- End quote --- It works pretty close to 100% of the time. I have a few cartridges that NEVER worked before, and they worked almost immediately after I installed mine. Every once in a while you'll get a solid gray screen, but I think that's more an issue of dust on the cartridge. My only gripe is how tight it grips the cartridge. With regular NES carts I have to wiggle the game to loosen it enough to pull it out; however Tengen carts are really tough because you can't grip those as well. |
