Bunch of stuff. Sorry for the long post. Picked up King of Tokyo on sale at Target. Picked up the Sloth card from Cards Against Humanity. I went a vacation to visit my family and attend a wedding in Connecticut. Also went to NYC. First up I got these at Video Games New York. $35 for NeoXYX, $80 for Caladrius, and $30 for Project Diva. Wish I bought a few games thay had broke street date on but i guess its ok. I can wait. Next in NYC I visited the Ghostbusters firehouse. Went to the 9/11 memorial. Last time I visited this area it was still smoking and debris was still everywhere. Very sad but a very moving and well done site. The 2 reflecting pools where the exact location of each tower and had all the names of people that lost there lives etched around the boarder. Then I ate a bunch of food in CT. Love the seafood there. Went to Dads Seafood in Niantic, CT. Lobster rolls, Lobster mac and cheese, and lobster fritters, clam chowder. Out here in Seattle we have a ton of seafood but lobster is almost non existent. It is like $40 /lb. so when I visit the fam in CT i ALWAYS stuff myself with lobster since it is so cheap. |

Get the DIY store to cut all your wood to the size you need, and the rest shouldn't be any more complicated than a self assembly kit. Easiest way is to measure out what you'll need for the frame first - get that cut, and screwed to the wall - attach a low profile adjustable shelf support system to it (such as these) - then measure up for your shelves, and get them cut, and slide them in. Obviously you'll have to paint/finish them - but honestly that takes no real time at all. --- End quote --- I get what you are saying,.... soon. :'( --- End quote --- http://www.wayfair.com/Atlantic-Multimedia-Storage-Rack-38435715-AL0187.html This shelf I hear is bad. I USED to be good, but they downgraded it and made it flimsy and crap. the ajustable shelves have a lot of overhang. I got the Leslie Dame Cd-1000B The High Capacity Multimedia 64" shelf. Each shelf compartment holds: 35 DVDs 17 ShadowFox cases and 1 DVD 20 UGCs 24-25 Saturn/Sega CD games (Can't check fully, don't have that many, 24 with space or 25 with none) The shelf has a center divider, and a middle nonadjustable shelf. So 4 quadrants. ________ I___I___I I___I___I Each quadrant holds can hold: 3 shelves of DVD/Saturn/UGC height cases with a lot of spare space above 5 Shelves of CD/DS height (Bottom Right in my photo) 2 CD/DS height and 2 DVD height (Top 2 shelves in my photo) 3 Shelves of DVD and 1 amiibo/ Atari Cart height shelf, not at the top or bottom though. (Bottom Left) The holes for pegs stop at CD case height on the top and bottom, so the top or bottom shelf in each quadrant can't be shorter than a CD shelf. You could probably drill more peg holes, or maybe even move the middle nonadjustable shelf to get 7 DVD shelves from top to bottom, Though the backing would be a problem, as it is wood, and sized for the quadrants. The side base things are not more than an inch out. A triple version also exists. some versions (The one I have) the sides overhand to the top, and it can be used as another shelf of probably UGCs, dvds would probably fall over if not fully packed.. I'd say this shelf is solid, not cheep particle board, very sturdy, it barely wobbles, and probably the best cheep media shelf. I got mine on eBay for $206. |
