I agree though I still like the GTO over the G8. (Mainly due to me not liking 4 door cars much.) They did make some nice cars. I guess if you want one like it, you could just order a Holden since that's pretty much what both cars were. :P Looks like I'm going I have to liquidate myself now. |

I sold it along with my TDI (I know, my member name doesn't make sense anymore :P) after we bought the minivan. It was a decent car. Never gave us any trouble. I just want' a fan of the way it drove. However, I loved the previous generation Grand Prix, especially the GTP. My dad had the Buick version of the GTP ('97 Regal GS). That car was a great "sleeper." No one ever expects to get their doors blown off by a Buick. I embarrassed a lot of sports car owners back in the day. I'm a big car guy as well, so I understand the situation you are in. Right now I'm not really setup with the sportiest of vehicles. However, I accept that because of my family. Eventually down the road, I'll get something a little more fun to drive. Right now, I just have my 2007 Ram 1500 (V8, quad cab, 4x4, six speed manual) and my wife's Town & Country, plus a Yamaha Kodiak 450. I love my truck and with the amount of stuff I haul and tow, I have to have it. My wife's minivan is actually a fantastic vehicle to drive. I don't regret buying it one bit. It's a million times more practical than any crossover. The only downside is that you have to say you own a minivan. You get over it quick. And the Kodiak is great for getting a little muddy (by which I mean covered from head to toe ;)) |

I can identify with you as I'm a fellow gear head. Sadly, my health prevents me from enjoying that hobby much anymore. However, I think the answer is simple. Sell the games you will never play. I love collecting and playing games too. However, if I don't like a game or don't intend to play it I won't buy it unless I can flip it to further my collection. |

If you have lots of games you are never intending on playing, then sure, sell them and put them towards the car. But I mean NEVER, EVER planning on playing, not just 'not interested in playing right now'. I've sold some things thinking I had no interest in them, only to later wish I had kept them - wouldn't want that to happen to you! You will, of course, be required to show pictures of your car when you get it. 8) |

@TDIRunner What did you have? I'm assuming a VW (but could be wrong though), I have a black on black 97 Jetta VR6 and I runs great! The down side is the previous owners did a horrible job of taking care of it. I've been slowly fixing it back up but it's turning into a money pit and have already way exceeded the value of the car and still need to put another $3000 just to get it back to stock looks and fix issues with it. Then I also drive a hoped up 88 Silverado (black or course lol) sadly cancer is starting to take over it and one of my X's wrecked it... @Thom Oh you bet. If I am able to get it and when, there will be loads of pics. ;D |
