Hmm, was hoping to start with 200 but the currency exchange from US to Canadian is going to kill me. And that's not even including shipping!  :(

Put me down for 100 for now and we'll see what happens...

So I have decided to take the same approach as the Gameboy cases. I'm creating this Thread for Pledges for the SEGA Genesis cases. The amounts are listed above, once enough people have pledged I will contact each of you for payment. This will pay up the initial first batch of cases and allow me to fast track these.  ;D

If we aren't able to get enough people to pledge and then front their money it is going to take me a few months before my funds are re-cooped enough to take down the first production run of these cases so close to the NES first production run.

Nice thing is, is that this mold has been created already and if we get enough pledges these can go into production within days!  ;)

SO TELL THE WORLD! (And all your friends!)  8)

Just curious, about how many do you need pre-paid to fast track this?

Sadly I don't collect Sega so I have no need for this product.  I hope this gets fast tracked fairly quick so you can move onto more important projects. like N64  ;)

HAHA! In my own personal collection I'm in the same boat as you!  ;) I'm thinking around 5-7,000 cases pledged for will push this to the production run immediately and we will have the product within 3-4 weeks  ;) And then off to the SNES and N64!

No worries, Game Gear will be coming  ;D

Once the first run is complete, I'll continue to have these in stock. The fund of the first run will cover material and the remaining mold cost, then on the second go around I'll need to use other funds to get the next batch in, but after that it should regulate and maintain itself. Meaning I should always have these in stock.  ;)

I would be much more interested in Sega CD/Saturn cases before N64, SNES, or Game Gear.  Perhaps another vote is in order.  :P
Maybe, just once, someone will call me "sir" without adding, "you're making a scene."

If those will be elongated DVD cases they SO get my vote.

We already have a DVD option for Saturn Games. However, those that want to have an authentic Saturn collection (at lease in the USA) are going to want replicas of the larger Saturn jewel cases.

Once I do Sega Saturn, they WILL be identical to the original.  8)

You don't really need a template since these are retail cases? So you can just get scans and clean them up...
