Preserving Quality

I am brand new. Just found this site wanting to get covers for my n64 games. I don't want to say i am disappointed . actually quite the opposite ( very excited ). but i am finding that a lot of the covers have loss of pigment,scratches and dents on the uploads. I am going through and touching them up professionally and was wondering if you would like me to re-upload them?  Or maybe you guys like the dents and scratches on the prints for nostalgia ? lol

I attached a photo of a paper Mario n64 cover I am touching up. It may seem like minor stuff .. but color balance and some over all healing overall makes it look brand new.

(my opinion) I think as collectors its our job to preserve the quality of these prints so future generations may enjoy them as they were in the original state not used.

How dare you mock us and our covers... we like nostalgic scratches... JK.

No actually some uploads are from the time before quality standards were as strick as they are now, some "crap" still gets past unnoticed.
You are more than welcome to clean and better them.
Just remember not to use filters as they tend to lose finer details.

Upload them to Mediafire or Box as those storages don't fuck up the uploads.

And I fully agree that mission of current generation is to store and if possible better the artwork.

Oh, and IMHO more cleaning is needed on the sample you gave us.

The bush and the ground still look bland and blotchy, as do the pipes.

i yeah no filters will be used what so ever. Just corrections. And i really appreciate people for uploading them. Like myself I cant afford VGA 95+ games so I dont have access to pretty covers :S.
