Any update on Genesis Case Repros?

I guarantee there is a way that 32x, regular Genesis, EA Genesis, Master System and Famicom can ALL fit PERFECTLY in the same case. There has to be. I just don't know what it is. So nothing to recoup.

Even assuming you're right, and ignoring the logic sheep pointed out (I too would have preferred a multi case, but hey whatever)... you overlook the fact that he would in fact have to recoup the cost of a new mold one way or the other   The Genesis repro mold has been created, no more tinkering with it (other than maybe if he's anal replacing the cover), which means whether he did a straight 32x or a multi case, he'd be pouring (and paying for) another one.

But hey, pipe dream.  I for one am interested in SCD/Saturn longboxes way more than I am in 32x cases.  I can modify a few Genesis ones, or have a few leftover UGCs, or whatever.  Will stick out way less than DVD cases alongside my existing longboxes.

But first he's gotta recoup his money on the NES/Genesis molds.

This was an idea shadowfox first asked about, and everyone screamed that they wanted exact genesis replicas - I would have been happy with a multi function case, but the masses spoke out louder! 

Let's get this Genesis case up and running..... and I will be swinging back around (After N64/SNES) I have plans on still making a SEGA universal game case.  My goal (one of many) is to have a complete game case product line which will house everything from SG-1000's to Dreamcast games.

I want to be able to absorb 100% of the SEGA games into cases....or at least 99% of them. I'm not kidding about wanting around 20 unique game case molds eventually. And the more I'm able to move product the quicker I'm able to jump onto the next mold. If things keep going well (And IF we are able to get more of these Pledges for SEGA Gennys) I'm looking at about 2 more molds completed by years end..... and 12-15 on top of that next year.

After 3 weeks of searching my factory has FOUND the SEGA artwork sleeve material!!!  

They are whipping up 2 sample cases and sending them over to me to confirm this week!!

Outside of the sample cases, did they ever produce any cases with the other material?  Or were they waiting on your initial order?

In other words, is there a chance that we will get the different material if we order early, or will we definately new the updated sleeves?

You will definitely get the new material.  I have been waiting for more pledges before pulling the trigger! But if this is what I think it is then we are ready to rock 'n roll!

I have to say, the quality of the sleeve on the sample was perfectly fine by me, if this stuff is even better, then I am even more looking forward to getting my hands on them! 😀
