My case arrived today, and I concur with the above.

Excellent quality (very slightly more flimsy than original sega case)
No plastic smell
Plastic cover is slightly more clear than a sega case - which is a good thing - covers look brighter in there
Cart clips slightly tighter than original sega case - meaning my 1 MSX cart doisnt fit without a fight

Famicom, genesis/megadrive and master system carts all fit like a glove.  Not rattling at all.

Intellivision fit in there loosely.
2600/coleco could fit with simple modification.

There are only 3 pages before this. It won't take more than 2min to read through everything.

I was going to take pictures and do some comparisons and such but sheep2001 did it before me. I'll just say that I'm pleased and can't wait for these covers.

1 negative to note, is that they don't hold master system manuals in place, as they are optimised for Genesis/Megadrive.

Only way around this would be to move the manual holding clips to the left hand side of the case, much like the later megadrive (and I assume genesis) cases.

Too bad they couldn't be molded to also perfectly fit 32X and EA games. Sorta how, (was it Seymor's) SNES/ SFC dual cart case is.

You know, it's funny because there was at least one 32x game that came in a plastic case (Toughman Contest if I remember correctly).   That means it must have come in some type of one-off case that was specially made for it.  Seems kind of expensive, but a mold must have existed for it at sometime.  Or am I missing something?

Does anyone have that case?  I wouldn't mind seeing pictures of the inside of it next to a standard Genesis case.

***EDIT***

It looks like the games that came in cases were:
  NBA Jam
  NFL Quarterback Club
  WWF RAW
  WWF WrestleMania: The Arcade Game

Maybe, just once, someone will call me "sir" without adding, "you're making a scene."

Well, once this case is completed I will be coming back around and investigate about some type of secondary SEGA case.  ::)

But at this VERY moment we are talking about Standard Genesis!  8)

I am going to need a chat with a heavy SEGA guy who can look at this secondary case project in full light. 'That' person would know what it would take to pull off another case that will houses everything this case is lacking.

QUESTION! Do the Famicom booklets fit by chance?  ???

Fit yes but most are are loose.

Some are bit smaller than SNES manuals, but most are smaller than original GB ones.

Semi local used game store has at least one or two of them, I might be convinced to pick one up if they're still there next time I go. Can't remember how expensive they were/weren't. But yeah, there's no way Shadowfox would ever recoup costs on a mold for 32x

I guarantee there is a way that 32x, regular Genesis, EA Genesis, Master System and Famicom can ALL fit PERFECTLY in the same case. There has to be. I just don't know what it is. So nothing to recoup.

This was an idea shadowfox first asked about, and everyone screamed that they wanted exact genesis replicas - I would have been happy with a multi function case, but the masses spoke out louder!  ;D
