Havn't had time to read through it yet, but it looks good.  Looking forward to see instructions for model 1.  I might actually get around to fixing it.

I'm in no rush because, as I said, I have two working model 2 CDs to play my games.  right now, I have a model 2 Genesis with a model 2 CD and 32x all setup.  However, I also have everything I need to get a model 1 with model 1 CD and 32x all setup.  I wouldn't mind haveing one of each setup just because I like stuff like that.  Of all of the systems that I own, the Genesis is the only one where I can't decide which model I prefer.

Oh, and I can understand the pain of having a small number of good CD or Saturn games.  Both of those systems seem to only have either really cheap commons, or really expensive good games.  There seems to be no middle ground.

Well the model 1 is the same process. I mean the disassembly is different but the fuse looks exactly the same. It's actually more of a pain to take apart if I remember correctly. I'll get to it soon, it may just not be in the next few days.

I might be able to figure it out with your model 2 instructions.  I still think it would help to for others to have a seperate write up with picutres for the model 2.  But I wouldn't rush on it or anything.

Thanks again.

Also, if your cd head unit doesn't read or is known to be bad, they're an easy fix for most everything I've looked at so far, and new head units can be had off ESway for around 25.00.  I'll write up a tutorial for that possibly soon, my X'Eye doesn't like to read everything I put in it.
