 :o

at the NeoGAF's boards was reported that someone has a Nintendo PlayStation prototype (the early concept of the PSOne, which was fruit of a collaboration between Nintendo and Sony.. you guys all know, I guess);..  no further credibility in this word though

what do you guys think? it's fake?.. a modded console maybe? Looks cool nonetheless! I'd love to test one of these!

The power cord seems a bit odd. Correct me if i'm wrong but isn't that the same plug the PSone remodel from 2000 uses?

Right click the image, open new tab. The new tab will automatically resize it to fit the screen.

Ah, thank you. I had settled on awkward sideways scrolling, but that is much better.

Maybe, just once, someone will call me "sir" without adding, "you're making a scene."

I don't like how rough he's being with it in the video.  The cd drive is not going to be happy with being spun around like that.

This popping up is really funny because I've always wanted to make a replica of this thing and was literally talking to a buddy 3 days ago about finally getting started on it.  Now at least I have a lot more images to use as reference :)

Justo to clarify  ;D I'm not saying that you do pirates things to sell them as original, is just That you make a lot of things that looks like the original (Luigi 3ds, it wasn't your intention that everyone thought it was an original nintendo edition). ;)

Your work is amazing and I admire your talent and your business. Hats off to you wiggy.

Why all the concern about breaking the cd drive.  Its not like there is going to be any games to play on it.

Even though it's a prototype, I would be willing to bet that it would play audio CD's if it's working.  It appears that it was designed to be a CD player in addition to a gaming console.  Now, I know that the original PS was also a CD player, but you still needed your TV turned on to select music tracks.  It appears that this was meant to be a stand alone CD player if desired (sort of like the Sega CDX).
