Always liked cross-buy - it seems to be the PlayStation feature that no one knows about.

Man Inafune Pretty much should stop with kickstarters.  With the disaster and garbage Red Ash is, and now MN9 getting delayed until 2016.  Man both his KS games look just terrible.  The first level played of MN9 is just awful.  Glad I didn't back ether of them.

I thought Mighty Number 9 came out the month after it was announced? Hmm. Oh well, I don't really keep up on new games much anymore.

Jesus Christ, it's better to have a game delayed and perfected than to have it shoved on the market buggy. It's not like there isn't fifty billion other games to play. Get over it and buy the game when it's finished.

While I much prefer to have a complete and working game (which is why I am usually fine with release delays) this one has been, unfortunately, delayed 3 times now.  That can get frustrating, especially for those of us who backed the game originally.  Sure, I'll be happy with a finished project, but this feels like the retron 5 all over again, with constant release changes mere weeks before the ship date.

Like I said, I want the game to be good...but I'd rather have a TBA at this point than get my hopes up for a specific day, only for that day to be constantly pushed back.

Cute.  Now this is not a typical delay.  This is the 3rd damn time just weeks before the release.  Also all the Kickstarter backers who have been waiting what 5 years now?  shit that's longer than most big budget releases take NOT a Mega Man inspired side scroller.  So no I will not get over it.  Also I was hyped for this game when it was announced. Not anymore.  Lots of people (not all) that backed it on KS do not even care about this anymore and just want money back or have no interest in playing it now.

Do you think Mighty No 9 is similar to Gunstar Heroes?

What he said.  It's more of a Mega Man inspiration.  Gunstar Hero is more of a Metal Slug style.

Correction, Megaman complete and total ripoff and Capcom won't pursue him about it because he created MM. Too bad it's complete and total crap so far, and I highly doubt that it's gonna get a whole ton better before it launches. I'll pass, physical copy or not, doesn't matter.

Isn't God of War a ripoff of Devil May Cry's gameplay?
Or a more direct ripoff, isn't Dante's Inferno a ripoff of GoW in almost every area?

Game styles have blatantly ripped each other off for years, some don't even bother to change a thing (aside the visuals).
Even if Capcom pursued this, I can't image they'd win a copyright battle.

Considering that Inafume created MM, left Capcom, then immediately started on a game who's protagonist, antagonist, gameplay style, game format, etc. exactly mimic Megaman, I'd say he tried to just take MM with him when he left.

MN9 is basically Mega Man to me. But the question is how similar is Mega Man and Mighty No 9 to Metal Slug?
