I decided to be the good future husband and put my collection of Saturn games on the Bay to help pay wedding expenses.  Sigh, the things we do for our significant others !  (As a side note, my Saturn is chipped, so I kept the backups of my favorite games. So, I sorta still have a collection, just a worthless one, lol)

Yeah, I was a bit excited when the guy said "Ohh, you like SHMUPS dont you? yeah, umm, Ive got some Japanese PS2 ones back here......you interested in them?" 

He did have Ibara as well but I could not afford that (he wanted £30/$46 just for that! although that is a good price of course)

WAIT!!! HE ONLY WANTED $46 US DOLLARS FOR IBARA AND YOU PASSED!!!???!?!?!?!

DUDE!!!  dont man...........I literally had £50 to my name, he produced the ones I bought and we negotiated to £50 for those 3........AND THEN he pulled out Ibara and I didnt have a penny more, and wanted to go home with the ones I had for sure.

Although, he was saying that he was going to check the price he said (via Ebay sold listings of course) so he would have quickly seen that he was drastically under charging me.

I know he still has it and am seeing him again Thursday and Friday, and as I can afford it now from selling some stuff today, I may see if I can get that past him as well!

Ok.  that makes it not sting as mush.  I got a minty just opened copy for $85 a few moths back.  Been looking for a deal for 5 years and it paid off.  Good luck to you.  I hope you can get it.

So I have been super busy and have not posted here lately.  Had to move and whatnot so yeah.  Anyway here are a bunch of pickups from the last month or so.

Got Guilty Gear XRD -Sign- (or whatever its called) for $#) on Amazon for the collectors edition which was 5 bucks cheaper than the stand alone copy!




Got the new Blazeblu for %50.  The Tomb Raider Temple of Osiris was on clearance at GameStop for $5 so why not?!  It does not have the game but a figure, map, and art book.

I got a glock 17 a few months back. I was torn between the 17 and the 19, but the 17 fit my hand a lot better. I still need to apply for my conceal carry.

Awesome. I've had mine for about 5 years now. It was a long boring class. Lol. I personally carry a S&W .38 Bodyguard.

He must live on the Illinois side of St. Louis. We Illini were the last folks to get it.

Yep, this.  From my house, I can be in MO in about 5 min, so I'm close.  Fortunately, MO accepts IL CCL as do the other boarder states, but since IL is a jerk, we don't accept MO CCL or any other state.  It's a 16 hour class and $300.  Also, I took my class about six months ago, and got my licsense last week which means it takes a long ass time to get it.  

I'm thinking about taking the FL class, that way I'm covered for about 75% of the country.  

***Edit***  I forgot, my IL class covers the FL class.  I just need to apply in FL to get their permit.  So, the only decision I have to make is whether or not I want to spend another $150 or so....


***Second Edit***  I also just remembered that our local news reported that my zip code has had more CCL applications filed that any other zip code in the state of IL.  So be careful, we're packin'.

It is crazy some hoops you got to go through to get a CCL in some states.  Here in Washington we can open carry all day no permit needed.  Also the CCL is literally walking into the local police department, apply, get printed and if ypu pass 2 weeks later ypu get it in the mail.  It great!  Also outs is valid in about 8? States.

Also, since IL politiicians are nuts, they didn't bother to combine our FOID card with our CCL.  So I have to carry both cards with me at all times.     I'll tell you, IL makes it a pain in the ass on purpose to try and keep applictions down.
