Ooooh.  Nice!!   :o

Yeah, I was a bit excited when the guy said "Ohh, you like SHMUPS dont you? yeah, umm, Ive got some Japanese PS2 ones back here......you interested in them?"  ;D

He did have Ibara as well but I could not afford that (he wanted £30/$46 just for that! although that is a good price of course)

Mushihimesama - NTSC-J - PS2
Thunder Force V - NTSC-J - PS1

No pal on those available, only US for Thunder Force!

Anyway still a nice pickup!

I got a nice pickup myself today. Meet an old collector who sold his complete collection. Had a few thousand games and many consoles. Sadly I was only the fifth to get there but still there were some nice things left.

Pics to follow. :)

DUDE!!!  dont man...........I literally had £50 to my name, he produced the ones I bought and we negotiated to £50 for those 3........AND THEN he pulled out Ibara and I didnt have a penny more, and wanted to go home with the ones I had for sure.

Although, he was saying that he was going to check the price he said (via Ebay sold listings of course) so he would have quickly seen that he was drastically under charging me.

I know he still has it and am seeing him again Thursday and Friday, and as I can afford it now from selling some stuff today, I may see if I can get that past him as well!

Ohh Ok Sheep!......sorry for missing you there, I just saw someone say something like "I hardly ever see PAL collectors around here" the other day and the only other person I knew for sure was in Europe was Arseen.

Im in the UK down in Brighton, what you doing over in France?

And sorry, I took the "fifth to get there" as me potentially missing some convention or something.  ;D

I'm from austria. A very small country near germany.

And yes I was only the fifth guy to get to the guy selling the stuff. By the way what I forgot to mention is I paid 15 per game. Such strange people who have those fixed prices in mind. He said all boxed games 25 als loose 15 newer stuff 10. I had to haggle quite a bit to make it worthwhile for me but after 15 mins I had him down to 15 a piece no matter which one. :)

I am most stoked about three dity Dwarves and Super Pang! Been looking for ages for them CIB for good price!!!! YEEEEsssss!

Nice haul.  I had a similar pickup/situation about a year ago.  A game collector had died, and his family sold his entire collection to a local pawn shop.  All kinds of stuff, mostly complete and in damn fine condition considering the age of most of it.  Unfortunately I was also about the 5th person to get there and much of it was gone (missed out on a CDi with several games for about $80).  I still scored some cool stuff including a Starpath Supercharger for the Atari 2600 with a bunch of boxed games.
Maybe, just once, someone will call me "sir" without adding, "you're making a scene."

Tell me before you get hit by truck so I can be checking even more often... and set the boards so only I can read and reply, or check contact info... ;)

If I got hit by a truck, my wife would probably jus throw my video game collection away.  :-[

Glad my brothers understand the values somewhat.
