When you open it up do mad guitar riffs play?

No.  And sadly, the sack did not include any of the systems that they pull out of the sack at the beginning of each episode.   :'(

Also, I'm beginning to think that all of those systems wouldn't fit into the sack at the same time.  I'm thinking there is some type of camera trickery at work here.  ;)

I got a fairly good deal on eBay, all this for $80.

It was posted used, but untested at $130, as the seller did not have any SEGA CD games. I told them Music CDs worked in the SEGA CD, and they told me the system did no power on. I looked around and it seems not powering on means there is a blown fuse. The price on the listing was lowered to $100, I asked what the lowed they will go and they said $80.

The Genesis works and all the chords seem to be OEM, and the Genesis is the one with the better sound chip.

Do Model 1 systems work with the 32X Model 2 cable? I think I heard they are different. I also have a Model 2 with 32X.

Also I found this:
eBay CALBE LISTING

50 cm long cable
Gold plated
Plug and Play

lol

EDIT: Just found Sonic CD for $16, new listing snipe. :P

I'm almost positive the Model 1 uses a different 32X cable.  Since the cable essentially brings the Genesis A/V into the 32X, and the model 1 has a different A/V port than the model 2, I'm guessing you'll need a model 1 specific cable.  There may be an adapter that plugs into one end to make it model 1 compatible, but I'm not too sure about that.  My 32X has always been hooked to a model 2.
TDIRunner:
The model 1 uses the same cable as the model 2, but with an adapter that allows it to plug into the larger port on the back of the model 1.
