Howdy TCP Peoples... Quick question for ya'll. Am at a loss personally and my head hurts from hearing one things from one site and the opposite thing from another site. Thought someone here might know the answer from experience... Would a typical gaming headset work with a cell phone? My Mother recently started a new job working from home. She's a customer service agent for an insurance company and often has to type while talking on the phone, but has a little trouble hearing people through the speaker on her cell phone sometimes. I've gone through several different Bluetooth headsets designed for cell phones and all of them had issues that were kind of deal breakers (ie poor incoming or outgoing call quality). I've noticed that there are several gaming headset on amazon that would work for my budget (about $60 max) that have good ratings for sound quality Headset does NOT need to be wireless, so a 3.5mm plug in would be fine. Also doesn't need to be able to answer and hang up calls from the headset itself as her cell phone will be in arm's reach when calls come in, so she can use that to answer and end calls. Basically, she just needs something that she can plug in or sync up with her cell phone (android smart phone) that would allow her to hear and talk clearly with customers while keeping her hands free to type. Does anyone know if a gaming headset would work for that? I'm hesitant to just buy one and risk Amazon being all wonky because I'm had to return about five headsets in the past couple months. |
