Am confused. So games like Ikaruga, Giga Wings 2 and Mars Matrix worked. But games like World Series 2k2 and Daytonna USA did not work.

I gave up on that after four tries. Plenty powerful machine + good blank media still equaled four coasters. I tried looking for various guides or info and couldn't find anything newer than three or four years old. If you find anything more, I'd be interested.

What software are you using to burn them, and what type of image file is it? (ISO/img/nrg/etc)

I use 10x, that's the slowest.

Could also just be bad rips of the games.  I know I've had a few bad ones and after downloading from somewhere else the games played fine.

It's been kind of 50-50. I have been able to download about 50 percent. The others have been a problem. Right now I'm using Alcohol 120 and I just downloaded a version of Disc Juggler. Was able to download Fast Striker Part 1. But now it's not doing anything when I try Part 2. It's gotten to the point also where it says I have reached max attempts and have to wait an hour. Part 1, I'm trying to extract that in my folder but it says you need to have the following volume to continue extraction. These things can be complicated.

Sounds like it's a split archive.  Put both RAR or zip files in the same folder, and then when you extract either one it will create 1 image file.  When trying to extract the image without both files will not give you the full I,age, so there is no way it will work if you actually manage to burn it.

For all the games that aren't working or for Fast Striker? For the games that are working, what's the difference? They aren't split archived? Too bad I'm not computer literate. I just got this PC.

Says The required volume is absent.

I'm talking about fast striker, or any other game that downloads in multiple parts.
