All my design programs (autocad, archicad, and others) are no longer working. I made a backup of the previous windows and they still won't work, I uninstall all the programs to install them again and won't let me install them. I formated the hard drive and install again windows, try to install all my programs and still won't let me install them. >:(
So now all my work is getting pile up, I have to work at home with my wife laptop at night (thanks God she's also an architect) but in the day at work I can't do anything because my laptop is messed up.

In the settings, go to Update & Security, then on the left pane click on recovery. If you scroll down, there should be an option for 'go back to Windows 7' or 'go back to Windows 8'. Make sure you are signed in as an administrator though, or the option won't appear.
It takes a couple of hours, but it will get your computer back to how it was.
I have a friend who ended up with basically your exact problem, and that solved it.

Also did that as second option (when I mention backup to the previous windows ) and that didn't work.
But thanks

I would've advised against the upgrade but too late now.
possibility 1: i am aware of this problem as related to a security update which i believe is optional. If you're like most people you may not uncheck optional software. The key here is that the system may have been swapped but old updates included with Win10 may still be compatible with 8/8.1. Even if you wiped the drive, Windows may be installing this update. You would have to find the update to eliminate the problem. I know that they block certain programs citing compatibility issues. My Wife has an anti-virus program and it was included in the block list but we didn't install that update so it works fine. You will need to search for the update with the exact program name and version to see if it is blocked. I cannot remember the name of these updates. MS always tries to make the names sound positive (deception). LOL
possibility 2: the license file of the programs is invalid.
possibility 4: you need to install/run the programs as an admin.
possibility 5: you didn't really wipe the drive clean. you should use a third party formatting tool and do not choose any "quick" options. the formatting should take atleast 20 minutes.
i have to go now. i am busy today. i have an appointment soon. i will think of other possibilities and resolutions. hopefully you can fix the problem.
be back later...

Thanks, I also thought on an anti piracy thing. Maybe win 10 has something that detect and report hack programs. After updating maybe it send the key i use was reported. From there on I can't use it. That's what I thought.
But to get better the week, the computer guy at work who was working on my computer forgot to connect the pc to an ups, light went off and guest what, hard drive was damaged. So the company I work had to buy a new hard drive for me. So maybe the possibilitys 1 and 5 that you gave me are now solved :P
