Windows 8.1 to Windows 10

Awesome! Much appreciated!
I use a program called guitar pro 5 nearly everyday. And it is one of my major concerns if it works on 10 or not. It's a little picky on windows 7 as it is. I'm pretty sure most of you all don't have a use for that program though.

Palmer, Fallout New Vegas works fine, Fallout 3 worked after installing Games for Windows Live. Minecraft and the Minecraft Server ran perfectly as usual and Terraria ran perfectly as well.
I don't have the other games so I couldn't test them but I'm sure they would work, or need minor tweaking to get them to work.
Hope that helps :)

It does thanks!

Ok, so I updated to windows 10 2 days ago ;D, and from that day till today is a nightmare >:(.
All my design programs (autocad, archicad, and others) are no longer working. I made a backup of the previous windows and they still won't work, I uninstall all the programs to install them again and won't let me install them. I formated the hard drive and install again windows, try to install all my programs and still won't let me install them. >:(
So now all my work is getting pile up, I have to work at home with my wife laptop at night (thanks God she's also an architect) but in the day at work I can't do anything because my laptop is messed up.

In the settings, go to Update & Security, then on the left pane click on recovery. If you scroll down, there should be an option for 'go back to Windows 7' or 'go back to Windows 8'. Make sure you are signed in as an administrator though, or the option won't appear.
It takes a couple of hours, but it will get your computer back to how it was.
I have a friend who ended up with basically your exact problem, and that solved it.
