I linked to this a little while back.  It's an interesting idea and I'm glad someone is starting to incorporate PCE/TG16 support.  However, like the Retron 5, I don't have much use for it as I have all of these systems already.  Now if someone could make a TG CD clone, I might be interested as I just cannot find an affordable version for myself.
Maybe, just once, someone will call me "sir" without adding, "you're making a scene."

I couldn't find the details in the link-- Any word if it'll be hardware or software based?  If hardware, could be interesting.  If it's just emulators, like the Retron 5, I'm not so interested.

I thought the main reason of the Retron 5 was to play those original games in HD, something that is not easily done with the old systems.

Also, the original Xbox can be modded to become a "clone Turbo CD/ Sega CD" much like the retron, using emulation to play original media. Though it's probably been 10 years since I've touched my modded Xbox, so I don't remember how well it played original CDs from those systems.
