Like, ripped in half damaged or a crinkled corner? Someone might be able to edit the flaw out if it's small enough.

It's hard to say unless you post it to see what there is to work with.

If it's not beyond repair, scan it perfect (moire free, 600DPI, absolutely flat and absolutely straight), upload it to Mediafire or box.com and give us link to it in this topic, and we shal see can we fix it.

Sites official upload function is only for ready covers.

Is perfectly straight really that big of a deal?  I understand why it needs to be perfectly FLAT since that is hard to fix later, but isn't adjusting the angle to make it straight pretty simple?  I understand trying to avoid that step, but getting a scan perfectly straight is not very easy to do and even if it's off by half a degree, it will still need to be adjusted afterwards.

I'm just asking because I try my best to get my scans as straight as possible, but when I crop them I can usually tell that they are off by just a little bit.  Do you guys want more effort on my part to get these staight?

It's also worth mentioning that part of the reason why it's difficult to get them straight is because if I line it up with the guid on the scanner, I'll lose part of the scan to the "dead zone."  I try to avoid this is a custom made guide that keeps the image at a 90 degree angle and out of the dead zone, but it's still not a perfect system.
Maybe, just once, someone will call me "sir" without adding, "you're making a scene."

Rotating an image on a computer tends to lose sharpness.

I have to say, I've never noticed any loss of definition from rotating a high dpi image.

Well take straight scan and crooked scan of same image with small details, straighten the crooked one and compare... see how the fine details get lost compared to the straight scan... 8)

That really doesn't make sense to me, but if that's truly the case, I will try my best to keep scans as straight as possible going forward.  I have a descent number of scans in my scan thread, and I would hope that if anyone is having problems with them, they would let me know so that I can either correct or try to avoid the issue in the future.
