Is that how many NES covers still have to be converted over to the Shadowfox template?
 ;) ;) ;)

Mutecityracer:

I am working on a complete PS1 collection, 90% of the jewel cases are cracked or broken or scrated or covered in sticker residue.  I'm not a fan of the hight of the DVD cases or the thickness of the 8 disc cases.  I'm considering the poly cd cases for all of them.  TAFK started a master thread for it but has abandoned the project but I think it is the project I want to pick up and do for all my games.  But I will be a pricey investment and I have some cases coming to see how I like it before I fully jump on

TDIRunner:

You say that the jewel cases are cracked or damaged.  Are the manuals and inserts ok?  If so, replacing CD jewel cases is extremely cheap.  There are many websites that sell replacements and they prices are pretty affordable if you buy in bulk.

Here is one example.

If your manuals or inserts are damaged or missing, then you might want to go the poly cd case route.

I have some games complete, some just disc, and some with manuals but no inlays.  I like the way the polycases look and they are more durable in my opinion.  Still trying to decide but if I do it will be a pretty big undertaking.

I understand.  I collect for approximately 32 different systems and out of all of those systems, my PS1 collection is the largest.  I've considered switching over to poly cases and DVD cases, but at the end of the day, most of those games are still missing covers of any kind and converting everything over would be such a missive undertaking.  Plus I would still have to store my original cases because I would refuse to get rid of them.  Therefore, I just find it easier to keep them in their original cases.

I have a small rule when it comes to disc based games.  I will not buy them unless they are CIB.  The only expection is either getting some disc only games as part of a large lot of CIB games or finding a crazy good deal on a hard to find game that is disc only.  By sticking with this rule, it's a lot easier to keep everything in a uniform (and original) case.

With all of that said, I'm pretty sure I have several PS1 games that do not have artwork on the site.  I'm more than happy to scan any of them and I plan to scan everything eventually, I just don't have much time at the moment.  But I'm happy to scan a few as requests come up.  If you need anything scanned so that someone else can make a cover, let me know.  Some have already been scanned and can be found in my scan thread.  I tried to filter out the games I own that don't have original manuals or inserts.
