Printer not printing glossy paper

Sometimes the printer defalts to that tray when you select a different type of paper. Check to see if that's the problem and make sure you've selected the tray that the glossy paper is in.

Thanks. Yea I tried doing that, inserting it in that tray and selected glossy, it still says that there's no paper

What kind of freakin' sensor does it have? If it's somekind of laser that gets reflected by glossy paper, the engineers should be shot ;)
Can you still return it to the store? If everything else fails, could you locate the sensor and block/disable it?

Sorry, I'm running out of ideas other than looking for a 1-800 support number and trying that or trying Google.
