fallout 4 hype topic
People of The Cover Project, it is I, RazzyDee, your ruler! Hear me, and obey! Oh sorry, that's that other radio station.

I know we talked about Fallout 4 a bit in the June buys but fallout needs it's own post. It's kinda crazy that mods made on the PC can be used on the Xbone and not sure if it's true but i heard some copies of Xbone's will have copies of Fallout 3. Myself i made the order for a PC copy with the Pip Boy because of the mod's. I dont own a Xbone but it's going to be interesting seeing PC mods for fallout on a non modded system

Not going to lie...I'm super hyped for the game.  I have played 1, 2, 3, NV for hours upon hours...all 4 of those games to me are amazing.  (never played tactics or brotherhood of steel on ps2 but meh)  So Fallout 4 has me really really excited...

BUT!!!!!

I will not get it on release day or anywhere near it's release.  I will wait till they have a GOTY or a complete edition of some sort.  The Pipboy is cool but I figure I can just ebay it if I really wanted one and hopefully the app will still work without the pipboy.

the app WILL WORK without the pip boy. the pip boy is just a housing. But remember the pip boy 3000 clock goes for a crap load of moneys/bottle caps

Man I love Fallout. Is has always been one of my favorite games.

I even made some Fallout covers... THAT STILL HAVEN'T MADE IT UP ON THE SITE AND IT'S BEEN ABOUT A YEAR NOW...

But anyway. The hype is well worth it am I will be buying this day one! I can't wait...

To bad Fable has turned into a shitfest because I used to love those titles too.

i would love to see Fable II hit PC or a Game pf the Year for Fable III on PC just for the DLC

So, I may get heat for this...but I really don't like Fallout.  Couldn't get through 1 or 2, or Brotherhood for Xbox.  3 I can play, but I really hated New Vegas...that said, I am also a sucker for unique merch.  And this Pip-Boy is damn awesome.  So I had to preorder.  Admittedly, the game is looking better and better each time I see it, but I totally bought this for the toy.

About the mods on Xbox One... there was a post-show interview with Todd Howard where he said that the mod functionality would be extended to the PS4 too. The phrasing made it seem like it was coming to Xbox One first, then PS4. I'm not sure if that's a timed exclusive sort of thing or if there are technical reasons for it, but it's still good news for everyone who pre-ordered the PS4 version...

Like me :P Pip-Boy Edition!

Dog meat is apparently unkillable!  At least that's what I just finished reading!

Man...good to know I don't have to have to worry about that...fallout 1 was a huge pain to keep him alive!  Even worse is that I was able to keep him alive till the end but apparently his death was supposed to happen and it didn't show him in the end scenes :(

It might be just me but I always found canine companions a lot more useful in battle then most others...3 dogs in fallout 2 was especially epic

Best buy has pre orders for ps4 & xbox one in stock again for the pip boy edition , i just order one, keeping my amazon pre order just in case best buy drops the ball on pre orders like they done before.... ;)

Really? I never had a problem keeping him alive, (even without cheating)

Fallout 2, 3 and new Vegas wasn't too bad...but in fallout 1 at the mutant military base he was guaranteed dead fron walking through the electric doors.  If he wasnt killed by the mutants and their miniguns.
