Hydro Thunder for Dreamcast complications

It says do finish top 3 in Easy to get the medium tracks. I did that several of times for each of the 3 tracks. Is there something I'm doing wrong?

Never said it was bad. But it says I need to get top 3 to advance and I am getting top 3 and it still has me on EASY.
