I understand that last part. Due to my setup (pics can be found in my TDIRunner's Collection thread) many of my consoles are pretty far away from my switch boxes. It's not a problem for systems that use standard a/v hookups, but for systems with proprietary hookups, I have to use cable extensions which I hate, because I'm sure I'm loosing some quality through multiple connections. Fortunately, the only systems that are affected by this are the PS1, PS2, PC Engine and Jaguar.
