To say anyone did a half assed job about anything is rude. To say some of our most prolific (and excellent) cover makers did a half assed job, is VERY RUDE. To call people half assed, and then ask for help, is....well....erm....silly. Yes I'll refrain from the myriad of other words that sprung to mind and stick with silly. I know you didn't mean it, I understand your background, but I have said 'think before you post' so many times now, and I'm bored with it. How would it make you feel if you produced something for someone, and someone else called it half assed? Even some of the covers I did when I started out, which, quite frankly I am embarrassed about being on the site, I would not take kindly to them being called half assed, as they were produced to the best of my ability at the time. |

--- Quote from: Ace Master Cire on June 05, 2015, 04:20:46 AM ---If they were posted as retail covers, then shouldn't they look like the post 2009 PS3 covers with a full PSN bar and all the other stuff they put on post 2009 PS3 games to change the styling of the entire logo as well as anything on the front or back cover? I'm not trying to be rude about this, I'm just making sure is all. I may have jumped the gun a little bit on saying that these covers were half assed. Because neither of them were half ass to anyone else you needed them they were just half assed in my own opinion because it it looked like post 2009 PS3 games with the whole overhaul. That's why I made such a big deal about it. Sorry if it made anyone upset. To anyone who.can fix these little things I nitpicked about, I would be extremely grateful. --- End quote --- Retail means as they were released at retail. Sony did not go back and redesign all of the past games because they changed their template. If it is changed even a little bit, like using the new design on older games, it is custom and also takes more work than just scanning and posting. Have you ever tried using Photoshop? I was a total noob at it a few years ago but something like this where you put an already scanned cover into a template you like is not that difficult to do. You do come off as rude and demanding and I personally do not want to waste my time working on covers you ask for. |

I've had enough of your snide sacrcasm, Nacho. If your going to be mean about all this, then do it somewhere, else. And to sheep, thanks for being so understanding of my situation. I have my own laptop with which to do my own stuff, now, but I dpn't have any experience making covers or using PhotoShop, nor do I have the money to buy it. That's why I ask for other people to help me alot with covers. I'm sorry if it upsets you. |

It's free (and legal) stripped down version of Photoshop, and quite easy to learn to use. And practice makes perfect. 8) |
