--- Quote from: Umbra on June 03, 2015, 12:08:50 AM ---The games shop I'm at has the MK PS2 box set, and I think Persona 3 FES is on amazon for like $15 new. I guess they're still being published or something...? I know that Square still publishes a few games for PS2 and PS1 so I suppose it's not too out of the question. Also, another question. Any opinions on Star Ocean: Till the End of Time? Never played Star Ocean for obvious reasons (not in the states, haven't emulated), but it's pretty cheap on ebay right now. --- End quote --- I would recommend Valkyrie Profile 2: Silmeria if you can find it. It was reprinted as a greatest hits version in 2011 but, I don't think had a big reprint. |

I've heard of Valkyrie Profile. I'll have to check it out. Just picked up Drakengard at the local shop. Don't know anything about the series, so I bought it on blind faith in PS2-era Square Enix. I'd assume it's at least somewhat good since the series is still going (isn't it?). |

My recommendations would be: Castlevania: Curse of Darkness Castlevania: Lament of Innocence Devil May Cry Devil May Cry 2 Devil May Cry 3: Dante's Awakening - Special Edition God of War God of War II Marvel: Ultimate Alliance Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2 Valkyrie Profile 2: SIlmeria |

I thought that Drakengard series for PS2 didn't get great reviews when it was released years ago. |

First one did okay, 8/10 roughly. It looked interesting enough in the store. Supposedly a dynasty warriors-type combat game mixed with dogfighting whilst mounted on a dragon. Or something like that. Here's a great question though: What's the deal with the .hack games? The place I go to has them for like $90 each. I have a feeling they're "okay" games that are just jacked up in price because of limited print or something. |
