I personally would go with semi-gloss but that is definitely way better than normal paper.

Does semi gloss have any advantages over Gloss other than price? Do you know good deals?

I use MATTE paper and it does print better than regular paper. Is Semi Gloss better than Matte?

For my personal taste matte is too dull and full gloss to shiny, semi-gloss looks quite like you would have cut up the actual SNES cardbord boxand put it in to UGC sleeve.

For A4 size you can find HP everyday semi-gloss photo paper 100 sheets for around 15-18 Euros in Europe..
I lucked out once when local electric store was moving and got the paper for 4 Euros/100 sheets.

I seem to bump only into 200g glossy paper, but the one I use is 170g semi-gloss, though the difference probably isn't huge.

Price at my local store is 16 Euros / 100 sheets.

no US delivery so you need help of UK person or postage is rediculous.

Semi-gloss A4 or legal no.
Letter which is too small for UGC (unless you can print borderless) I've heard is somewhat easy to find.

I could send it from Finland but shipping is quite high.

Those are just the shipping prices from Finland to USA taken from home page of Finnish post:
http://www.posti.fi/private/pricesandinstructions/
Choose international parcel under common tariffs.
US is in tariff zone 3.
Weight of one 100 sheet pack is 1.2 kilos i believe for the 170g/m2 paper, so 1.4-1.5 kilos for the 200g/m2 paper.

I could not find the price for the lighter paper online, but the heavier was around 18 Euros for 100 sheets.
I can check the prices of the papers once I go to town next time.

When considering matte versus semi-gloss versus gloss it's really a matter of opinion/taste. There is no "better". Find what you like, and run with it.

Personally, I'm a matte guy.

Which paper looks closer to the real covers?
