Game booklet / mini guide

Pages: (1/1)

Zopenko:

Now that the shadow cases are coming an they have a manual holder, I've always wanted to do / print a small (20 page) mini game guide booklet for my games. I now that game guides are free and fast on the internet. But I've always loved the printed ones.
So my questions are. Has someone done this before? Do any body have some tips on how to start? Does somebody have a template?
I now that each game type is different. An RPG might need more pages. And a puzzle game less. My idea is a booklet style manual with 3 or 4 pictures / text boxes per page

Few thing to remember when making these is the order the pages should be printed.

Make sure that the number of pages is dividable with 4.
Assuming you have 16 pages you must order the pages like this: 16+01 and on the other side 02+15.
Second paper: 14+03 and 04+13
Third paper: 12+05 and 06+11
Last paper: 10+07 and 08+09

01 is the front cover and 16 is the back cover.
It's important that the Back cover is on the left and front cover on the right when printing and note how the small and big page numbers keep switching, that too is important.
