Repros dont lose value   :P

Yes they do. Star Ocean used to go for $200 and up. But with changes in the way repros are being made, (using new parts and chips) the price has come down to $75 on average.
The price for Star Fox 2 is also falling. When I started buying repros the average game cost about 60 -70 dollars, but now I can get them at $30.

That is case with all loose carts, but well made CIBs hold their value better as those are made less.

The last 2 years alone has been great for the prices. I can justify spending $30ish on the non special games now. Even Ancient Stone Tablets has dropped in price :)

It's great that the prices have come down.  I feel like they should cost around 25.00 - 50.00, depending on technical difficulty.  I know some people make the repros just for the money they can make from it, but charging over 100.00 for a repro is ridiculous....except for Starfox 2.  It takes me a good 2 hours to make one of those.  It's tedious as hell.  But anything else is not that tough unless you're working with subpar equipment.

I don't know if there has been someway to do Star Fox 2 easier, but its had one of the biggest price drops. I can get it for 65 now but i still haven't got it yet. It's on my want list though.

1: I too have heard that easier and cheaper way of making it has been found.
2: I hope someone would finish the multiplayer portion that is available in alpha stage (I believe it is not too badly unfinished, just needs some cleaning and better stage select).
3: I hope N64 repros would become possibility.

The problem with N64 repros is that Nintendo combined 2 chips into one for the N64, and that's a tricky thing to workaround.  I've heard of a few repro N64 carts going around, and eventually, I'd love to get my hands on one to see what the maker did to get it to work and see if I can't reproduce that concept for other games.  More of a proof of concept (and challenge) than anything.

I read a few articles the other day that there is a finished version of Star Fox 2 with no bugs and other stuff that wasn't in the roms that were dumped. Sadly it's probably lost to us.

EDIT: Here's one of them http://www.nintendolife.com/news/2015/05/a_totally_complete_version_of_star_fox_2_really_does_exist

Someone should break into Nintendo's vault and get copies of Starfox 2 (SNES), F-Zero BS 2 (SNES) and Ocarina of Time FULL N64+N64DD -version.

Yup. Piggyback board. We have some that we designed, but a guy on NA has a better design and is selling them. Can't recall his SN off hand though. Takes maybe 15 minutes.
