If you could live in a land created in a video game, where would you live?

I'm having a tough time deciding between Kanto and Hyrule...maybe Mushroom Kingdom!

The Citadel in Mass Effect.  With enough time to ensure my bloodline is pretty thinned out by the time the Reapers show up.

Kirby's Dreamland!

Wait... do you get to live there in your current human form, or are you magically transformed into something more... in line with the setting?

IDK, An Animal Crossing village seems ok, for substantiating life. Money is easy to get, little to no dangers (Minus Bees and Nook's wrath), being Mayor is fun, actual things to talk too.

I feel like most game plases are dangerous or would get annoying after a while for how happy they are.

Kanto would be great, the constant annoyance of animal rights activists would be bothersome though  ;)

I'm thinking someplace with warm sandy beaches. I just want to lay in a hammock and sip cold Corona all day.

Costa del Sol from Final Fantasy VII and Arni Village from Chrono Cross sound nice.

I've also been rather partial to Balamb Garden from FFVIII.

Sorry to bump such an old thread, but I really wanted to answer this question.

I didn't answer the thread originally because I really didn't have an answer.  However, now that I've finally had a chance to play through Ico for the first time (playing the HD remastered version on PS3), I can say that I would want to live there.  I've never played a video game before, where I've wanted to visit the world I was playing in as much as the world in this game.  It's truly an amazing and beautiful game.  It's a shame that I was not familiar with it until only recently.

Now of course, I would only want to live there if I didn't have to worry about fighting those shadowy figures...

Great game.  Can't wait to finish it.
Maybe, just once, someone will call me "sir" without adding, "you're making a scene."
