You probably saw already, but for others:

Physical release is kickstarter only.  The game will be download only after KS (although I personally assume they'll do one of those "Post-kickstarter backerkit" things for ppl who really want it between when it gets funded and when it comes out, but that's just an assumption)

Actually, according to the FAQ there WILL be a physical release down the line however the kickstarter bonus weapons, boss and box are exclusive to backers.

From the FAQ :
"There will indeed be a physical release of the game in the future. However, the Kickstarter-exclusive box set is a celebration for fans willing to support IGA in his time of need, so the retail version of the game will not contain any of the Kickstarter-exclusive bonus content."

Oh dang, they either changed that or I somehow missed it in my pants wetting excitement. Either way I'm not concerned, it was a no brainer for me to back this one

I had a YOLO moment this morning and changed my pledge. I went from the $100 pledge all the way up to the $1550 pledge. That means I get to have my face become a portrait. ;D
It was the last ANCESTRAL BLOODLINE II opening available.

Damn...good for you.  Way to immortalize yourself.  I had briefly considered that, I just couldn't pay THAT much.  Now, if this was a Resident Evil or Zelda game...

Wow.  When the game finaly comes out, you will have to let us know which portrait is you.
Maybe, just once, someone will call me "sir" without adding, "you're making a scene."

Why dont you back the $60 one and also buy the retail copy?  The backer version is going to be different with different content from the retail release.  I will do both.

I'm thrifty when it comes to collecting, that's how I've amassed my collection.

This game will get made regardless now. And since it will probably sit on my shelf for months before I ever get around to playing it, a vanilla copy is satisfactory to me.

And in general I don't back video games on Kickstarter anymore due to the extended development time. You're probably looking at a minimum 18 month return on your investment.

I've been thinking about making a youtube video when the game comes out called "Bloodstained the quest for my face". In the video, I just wander around the castle looking for my portrait. Also I used a credit card to pay for this pledge, so I can pay it off over time and not be burdened with a huge lack of cash.

It FINALLY looks like a Wii U version is a possibility. If you check out the Kickstarter page and look at the stretch goals, at the very bottom (in the basement) next to the $3,000,000 stretch goal, you can barely make out a Wii U logo.

I ran the image through photoshop and it is a wii u logo.

Yeah, I noticed that last night.  It seems reachable as well.
