New Cartridge based Video Games System
<< < (3/5) > >>
segamer:
If this system is released, and there's only a handful of good games that make it to cartridge, I'll be happy. I really want a Shovel Knights cartridge.
SegaNomadman:
I'm totally loving this idea! Definitely going to back it. Especially if it ends up with Shovel Knight!  ;D One thing though, in my opinion it needs to be able to update the carts. Like for Shovel Knight's DLC and such the system needs to be able to connect to the internet and update either the console's internal memory to save the data for the carts' updates, or the carts need to be able to save it. This way we could still get bug fixes and cool upgrades for the physical games!
shenske:
This looks really interesting. I'm excited to see how the kickstarter pitch goes. I want to see some concrete negotiations on games coming to their platform and pricing. Really cool stuff  :)
ZX the Hedgehog:
According to the article, They are already in talks to port Shovel Knight & Retro City Rampage (an awesome GTA-style game with 8-bit graphics which I love, but no one else seems to care about), and hopefully more companies will come on board as the console comes to fruition.

Personally, I'm hoping a big-name indie game company like Team Meat or Gaijin Games signs on. That may inspire other smaller indie companies to sign on.
SegaNomadman:
They need to go to Wayforward and talk about releasing a physical Shantae game.
