I have a ps3 cover art image with a front, back and spine that I am trying to print. I messed up 5-6 times already and it's really frustrating me. The image is 300 dpi. My printer quality is 600 by 600 dots per inch. I uncheck the option to "fit picture to frame" like I am supposed to but I am still not doing it right. I even downloaded a software called undercoverXP but it keep saying "The cover is (partly) positioned outside the printable area of your printer."

Before someone types GOOGLE. Yes I tried googling and hitting up different forums but I'm still messing up. Am I doing something wrong? I tried looking everywhere all over the web and even in the tutorial section of this forum and still haven't figured out to do it. I even created an account just so I can ask this question. (I'll try to be active, cause this forum looks awesome) I'm limited on glossy papers and only have 2 left and I can't afford to waste them so I wan't to know a "for sure" setup that someone would use for this picture to print out...

1. What is the proper dimension (width and height) in pixels and in inch for printing ps3 cover art?

2. What paper size should I use to print? (Legal, A4, envelope 8.5x13in, ect...?)

How would you setup your print for this PS3 cover art below?

Paper size: A4 and Legal are big enough, as an European I'm not sure but Letter might be also big enough if printing borderless.

All our covers are set to print 300DPI and right size automaticly, but sometimes some printing programs want to screw the DPI so open the cover in MS Paint and go to properties and make sure that the DPI says 300, if not post the DPI here and I'll tell you the correct scaling.
Formula is the DPI the cover shows divided by 300 = scaling percentage.
For example the DPI shows 72 -> 72/300 is 0.32 -> scaling is to be set to 32.

Also set printing margins to minimum, set centering on on both horizontal and vertical set paper orientation to landscape (meaning wider than tall), fit to page off and scaling 100 unless the DPI is screwed then use the correct scaling.

You don't, that is the DPI printer will print.

Program that you use to print tells the printer what DPI to print.
If the image is 300DPI the printer simply prints each dot 4 times.

So go to MS Paint and see what the DPI is.
Then if the DPI is 300 all is fine.
Just do the adjustments I told and insert the paper.
Then go to print setup (still in MS Paint) and specify the paper type, paper size and wanted print quality in there.

Then hit print.

Here is the dpi for the picture. It is set at 300.

1. What is the correct pixels for width and height?
2. What is the correct inches for document size?
3. What is the correct paper size to print? I live in the U.S. I don't know anything about European you mentioned?

How would you print this image on your end? Also I wanna say thanks you been real informative and helpful and I highly appreciate it...

After checking few covers correct size @ 300DPI seems to be: 10.25 * 5.86" or 3225 * 1758 dots, so your covers is basicly correct size.

I print from MS Paint (you know the Paint program thnat comes with every Windows computer).

Please provide picture of print set up window (the one that shows paper orientation, paper quality, paper type, centering, scaling etc)
