I'm trying to decide on new games to collect that aren't mario, zelda, pikmin, donkey kong, or metroid because I already have all those.

What are some of your guy's favorites?

Muramasa: The Demon Blade is definitely worth a try. I really enjoyed it.

If you're in to RPG style games, Pandora's Tower and The Last Story are excellent and fairly priced.  Xenoblade is a good one as well, although I don't think it's worth the asking price.  Tales of Symphonia Dawn of the New World is also pretty good.
A decent horror game is The Calling - it is basically like fatal frame only not as good.

Also, the Kirby games and Sonic Colors.

This thread on Nintendoage covers a lot of good Wii games.

I have most of the games I want for my Wii collection. I purposely avoided RPGs (not into modern RPGs) as well as overly mature and violent games (with the exception of House of the Dead and Resident Evil) because my son plays the games.

These are our games.

Rampage Total Destruction isn't too bad.  I wouldn't pay much for it, but if you find it for cheap, definitely try it out.
Maybe, just once, someone will call me "sir" without adding, "you're making a scene."

You NEED endless ocean 1 & 2.  Really great games.

Tatsunoko vs Capcom is very solid.

Bit trip, boom blox, excitebots, Gand slam tennis, mad dog mc cree, mad world, nights, no more heroes, Sam & max, ready 2 rumble, sambo de amigo, trauma centre new blood/second opinion.  All worth a punt, and should be pretty cheap.

If you like games with effeminate heroes in them then you go bro, but protagonists like this are not my thing: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H47ow4_Cmk0

I enjoy quite a few violent games myself, but I don't want my 6 year old playing that. We've looked at Egyptian  mummies and talked about death, but I don't want him to have nightmares.

One game I enjoyed for its good use of the Wii motion controls is "Kororinpa: Marble Mania".

Oh thanks dude. Yeah, now is the time to collect for Wii. It's relatively cheap.
