| 3DS SD card write protected fix? |
| (1/1) |
| palmer6strings:
So I picked up a black 3DS today, and it has the "SD card is write protected" notification when your on the home screen. It seems nobody (at least from what I can find on google) has a legitimate fix for this. I've fenangled with the card, locking and unlocking it again multiple times. To see if it will fix it to no avail. Anyone got a fix for this? |

If that tiny switch is in correct position, the card might be busted. Try if you can format the card on PC. |

Ok well this is what I did. I took the card out and put it in my other 3ds and the card worked perfectly fine. I put it back in the black one and it did not work. I got a wild hair and took the SD card back out and moved the lock switch to the center and plopped it back in the 3ds and it worked! I'm happy that it worked but all that I said just proves that the SD reader in the system is a little messed up. I'm just now gettig to work, so when I get situated here I will take a pick and Q-tip and see if I can clean it and jostle the Inner lever to get it working properly again. Edit: This is how I have to set the card for it to work. |
