--- Quote from: Superchop on May 08, 2015, 06:24:17 AM ---For years I've been passively looking for a nice and clean SNES At a decent price.  But all I could find is either one that was already completely yellow, overpriced,  or both.  But the other day browsing goodwill I came upon this!

It was everything in the picture including the av cable and power cable...super clean with just a thin layer of dust on top and very minor yellowing on the controller ports...the inside of the system was just as clean...barely any dirt.

It ended up being $40 which was a bit more then I was looking to spend that day but I figured I wouldn't get another chance like this...especially since some guy saw it before me but he "refused to pay retail on it".

I can't say I'll go hard on collecting games...maybe 1 or 2 of my absolute favorites but will be saving up for an ever drive or something down the road.

Not sure if anyone has mentioned this or not, but its worth checking the serial on that unit.  The molded eject button and sticker indicate it is a later unit, and there is a chance that it could be a rare 1-chip SNES in the old style console.  The nice thing about these is that they have the advantages of the 1-chip (less of the vertical bar issue) but still have RGB output (unlike the SNS-101).  I believe the 1-chip's start around serial# 31XXXXXXXXXX.  At work at the moment, so I can't verify.
