Also, I'm seriously considering getting Bloodborne. Anyone have opinions to share?

Load times.  Load times.  Loading screen.  Load times.
For a game that kills you as often as this game does, the 45 second to a minute load times after each death are ust the worst.
Other than that, damn amazing game.

I ALMOST had a really nice pickup today.  I was at my local Game Exchange store and I saw a guy with a box of stuff he was trading in.  Immediately I spotted some TurboGrafx-16 games.  I asked if he had a console too, and it was already behind the counter being tested.  He also had some boxed N64 & SNES games.  I saw Donkey Kong Country 2, Super Mario Kart & Castlevania (not sure which one), and I overheard the employees telling him that the two Zelda's he had were worth around $50 each (I didn't see which ones they were).

He was looking for cash instead of store credit, and the offer was $66.  He turned it down and packed up his stuff.  I decided to wait outside for him and make him a cash offer.  It looked like he had around $300 worth of stuff (the TG-16 games were pretty common releases, and I couldn't tell what condition the N64 & SNES games were in, or if they were complete).  I would have paid as much as $200 for the whole lot.  When I talked to him, he said that the store employees showed him an Ebay listing for a TG-16 console that was worth $799.  I told him that the basic TG-16 he has is not worth anywhere near that much, and they must have been looking a a listing for a Turbo Duo, or a lot which included some rare games.  Regardless, he was convinced he had struck gold, and said he wouldn't take less than $450.  I wasn't going to argue or debate with him, so I said "good luck" and went on my way.  I wanted to go back in the store and ask what they showed him online, but it was a moot point at that time.

By the way, this store sells games relatively cheap, which means their buyback prices are pretty low.  I bought SNES Turtles in Time there recently for $15, and I once saw a TG-16 system for $45 (to this day I regret not buying it).

Tough break.  I hate it when people who don't know anything about video game pricing try to offer advice to other people who don't know anything about video game pricing.

I bought a large lot of Atari 2600 games a little while ago (it was posted here).  I bought everything at Goodwill and the price was pretty fair.  However, the woman at the counter told me that someone else told her that each Atari 2600 games was worth at least $20 each.  I was like "ok, great."  She seemed pissed that I wasn't more excited about getting such a great deal. ::)

I run in to the same problem at my local goodwill.  A lady who works there knows "a little" about games, as she apparently has a DS.  Anyway, since she started working there, prices on lots of video game stuff has gone up.  The problem (besides being annoying as hell) is that her info is outdated.  $99.99 for a DSi XL?  In 2015?  $150 for a standard, small 3DS with no stylus?  This isn't 2012.  She tried talking me in to buying an original XBox with 2 controllers and both Halo games for $99...I told her it was worth about half that, IF everything was in mint condition, and had the Price Charter ap to back it up.  She looked at it and said she might be able to get the price lowered if she talked to the manager, but I had to be sure I wanted it (which I didn't anyway).  I tried to be pleasant about it, but I basically told her I don't shop at Goodwill to pay market price for video games.  She didn't seem too happy with that comment.

I flew in to my hometown for a few days and hit up 3 local game stores.  The lot cost me about $100 across the 3 places.

PS1/PS2 titles were buy 2 get 2 free
Magna Carta (PS2) $25
Resident Evil 2 Dual Shock $20 - with this I now own all NTSC US releases of Resident Evil titles.
Wild Arms - Free (Would have been $20)
Dragon Valor - Free (Would have been $20)

NES/SNES were 20% off
Mighty Morphin Power Rangers the Movie - $18 after discount
Yo Noid - $4 after discount
Dash Galaxy - $0.50

Borderlands was mismarked at $15, and I had a gift card, so it was free (I am guessing they marked it thinking it was Borderlands 2 for 360)

Guides were $5 each

And not really game related, but the Masters of the Universe Collections were $4 each, and Sleeping Beauty Blu Ray (my favorite Disney film) was $6

Now comes the task of finding space in my suitcase for them.

My Majora's Mask Messenger Bag also came.   :D

Nice pickup.  I've been looking for a dual shock version of RE2, but I would hate to spend much money on it since I would probably prefer the original since I've put so many hours into the D-pad.

I also need the long box to RE1 and the non Director's Cut of RE1 in regular jewel case.

Thanks!  I have been looking for RE2 for a while.  I have the greatest hits version of dualshock, but the original can be tricky to find.  Sellers on eBay usually overcharge since it's hard to find despite it not being worth any more, so I have just been checking gamestores until I found one that was just on the shelf (as surprisingly few people know there is actually a difference).  I see the RE1 jewel case versions occasionally here and there, but I haven't seen a longbox version in the wild in years.  I need a new one as well, as mine is almost 20 years old and the joints are cracked.

How much were you planning on selling it for? I have a Goldstar, but I kind of want the other model as well.

There are 3 models actually. 2 Panasonic, and one Goldstar.

In the US.

There were two other models only released in Japan, plus the PC card that could be used to turn your computer with Windows 3.1 into a 3DO

Well, that one is kind of the main model, I know there are tons of 3DOs.

Got back from Target. The Silver Marios are for Arseen. I ran into Spoonman again. Target was not as plesent as it was last time, more people and more of a chaotic atmosphere, but not too bad. People were orderly and stayed in line for the most part. I was 6th.

Got the 3 Wii nunchuks for $1 each.

Got NBA Jam, Mario Party 8, and Super Paper Mario for $3 each.

Got Super Mario Galaxy, Twilight Princess, and House of the Dead Overkill for $5 each.

Snagged a copy of Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call. Not sure if it's been done yet but I can throw up scans if needed.

Side note: that game surprised me with how fun it is.
