The US version for Sonic the Hedgehog on the Master System is identical to the PAL version except for the bar code.  Unless you really need the US bar code, I would just use the PAL version hosted on the site.

I can scan my Hang On/Safari Hunt tonight.  Someone else will have to convert it to a clean cover.

***Edit***  I'm pretty sure I have Cars for the PS2 as well.  If so, I'll scan it when I scan Hang On/Safari Hunt.
Maybe, just once, someone will call me "sir" without adding, "you're making a scene."

It's my understanding that the USA Sonic on Master System was the PAL release. The only difference is that a sticker with a new barcode is placed over the PAL barcode.

That's 100% true.  The original PAL release generally sells for around $30 complete, while the U.S. version is $150+ despite the ONLY difference being a barcode sticker.

Yes, this is correct.  The fact that the US bar code is simply a sticker makes it damn near impossible to tell if a US release is real or not as anyone can make a fake sticker to place on a PAL version.

Thanks I was not sure if the palus cover was different, there is a PAL cover on the site so if its the same as US that works for me!
