Well... Capcom did make an empty NES cartridge for Mega Man 9.

Why would I sell it?? Since I can't own the original box I thought it would be neat to just put it in a case.


**I guess I should clarify that technically I could go and find the press kit for this game (which was the box and fake cartridge shown above) on ebay, but it would look more uniform with my other cases.

I meant that someone could make replica box and sell it as genuine for $$$ x BIG...

Gotcha, I'll ask around if anyone owns these and would be willing to scan them.

I dunno, honestly, I think I'd like a whole set of NES, 8-bit style covers for Mega Man 1-10.  Just line them up and admire them.

I was working on it at one point. I hit a bit of a snag because I can't vector, but the style was not like the original boxes, but styled after Nintendo NES games, like Super Mario Bros., where most of the box was black and there was a window with a sprite image. I have designs for Mega Man 1-7, and was considering doing Mega Man Soccer and Mega Man & Bass. If I ever get around to finishing them, I'll look into maybe doing MM8 and on.
