I might ask you to look into a Wario for me, Larry. If there is one with a clean paint job and nice packaging, I would be interested. Thinking about it, I'm not really all that interested in Waluigi, to be honest. The only reason would be to pair him with Wario, but if I never happen to find one, I won't really be too broken up about it.

It might sound weird, but I actually prefer the 2.5" figures to the 4". Even though they are much more functionally limited, I feel like I get more bang for my buck when I can buy four smaller articulated figures for $22 bucks rather than two larger ones for $24. That being said, I'm not planning on purchasing all of the 2.5" figures, only the ones that I think look cool. In particular, these happen to be the larger 2.5" figures, like Ganondorf and Donkey Kong, but I also quite like Diddy. I picked up Link to go along with Ganondorf because hey, what's five bucks, right?

However, I did splurge on the 6" DK and Bowser figures. Picked up DK off Amazon.com for $15.99 (plus free shipping for the whole order). Unfortunately, I had to pay more than retail for Bowser, but I was quite lucky in that I won an eBay auction for $20.99 -- the starting bid! That one also cost $7 to ship, though. Still, only about $5 more than MSRP. I can live with that. Don't really have much interest in any of the current or announced 6" figures, either. I'm happy just picking and choosing the figures I like.

Today I got in from Toy Wiz:
6" Ganondorf
4" Toad
4" Luigi
2.5" Luigi
2.5" Mario
2.5" Olimar

and I went down to Target to pick up your Wario, one was left, but I also found:
2.5" Diddy and Donkey Kong (Why not, $3.30)
4" Samus
4" Diddy Kong
Blue Pikmin Plush
Plush display box

The Wario box is slightly dinged up and the paint is ok, I've never seen one with good paint.

Those pics look quite familiar. I believe I saw them on the reddit WoN thread. I'm glad your trip back to Target yielded some other good finds as well!

Another thing I like about the 2.5" figures is the little write-up on the back of the package. Kinda neat.

Thanks, larry! I'm sure the Wario will be just fine. I've seen some bad paint jobs on the Mario and Luigi figures, but they were quite obvious.

Also, if you can remove Waluigi from my want list -- I'm not all that interested in him.

I was so glad to see them in Target, they just happened to have the ones I'm missing, minus the Metroid. There is still a Toad, Samus and Diddy there, and some Boo, Link and another blue Pikmin plush.

All the figures have that description on the back BTW. And the 3.5" Mario and Luigi figures I got have better paint on them than the older ones, the quality of the figures seem to be going up, but the older ones are not in production currently it seems, :(

Oh shoot, really? Somehow I never noticed it, but then again, I wasn't looking all that carefully. I just know that on the back of the 2.5" figure card, it's about all there is!

If you happen to come across a Cranky Kong, would you mind picking him up? I'd feel much better having two figs shipped together than separately.
