See Lego City Undercover.
= Lego GTA, and actually good Lego game.

As long as we are touting our favourite games, let me add this: If you really love side-scrolling platformers, then DKC: Tropical Freeze is the secret best game on the Wii U.

Usually I pass right over those Lego games, but that sounds interesting.

For me it's the other way round. I'm a sucker for these Lego games but have absolutely no interest in Lego City Undercover. For me the appeal of the Lego games is to see beloved franchises become "lego-ified". In games like Lego Star Wars and Lego Indiana Jones you see these famous iconic scenes from the movies Lego style, which is hilarious. Whereas Lego City Undercover is just a Lego game in GTA style if that makes any sense.

back to topic:

I have a Wii U, PS4 and Xbox One and I haven't turned on the Wii U in a year now. I'm a huge Nintendo fanboy but after the Wii I was realistic enough to know that once the initial launch craze was over Nintendo itself would be the only company to make the games worth owning a Wii U for. The Wii U exclusive features for multiplatform games have all been very gimmicky and tacked on. I think it's only worth buying a Wii U if you like the exclusive third party games and/or if you love Nintendo games.
I bought a Wii U mainly because it has/will have the games that you can only play on that system and the big hitters like Mario, Zelda and Metroid (I can dream, can I ;) )

I understand.

And Lego City Undercover has that too, as it is full of parodies of movies and famous people.

Retro Deckades:

I hate to derail the Lego City Undercover discussion (it's a game I knew I had to own, but I haven't yet played. I will get to it this summer!), but I recently returned to Hyrule Warriors after playing about halfway through the game. Everything recently clicked, and I'm enjoying it immensely! The fan service in this game is really excellent.
