could someone make 3d printed R.O.B. parts?
KMSoulja:
I just bought a 3D printed piece for my virtual boy that allows you to replace your missing virtual boy stand with a standard camera tripod.
it got me wondering if somebody can make replacement pieces for the R.O.B. robot for NES?
KMSoulja:
found some on ebay http://www.ebay.com/itm/Nintendo-ROB-claws-hands-NES-/201324851441?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2edfe570f1
TDIRunner:
I wouldn't mind getting my hands on some Stack On parts. But considering the number of pieces needed, I'm willing to bet it would be cheaper to just buy the real thing.
wiggy:
^^^ Not to mention that printed parts are far from perfect :-\

Is that because they were printed cheaply or because 3D printing just isn't the right way to make those kinds of things?
