Custom NES Templates, Colour, and Uniformity
(1/1)
Dravenae:
I've just finished making all my custom templates for my systems: NES, SNES, N64, Mega Drive, GB, GBC and GBA (though I may change my GB/C/A template). I have made the covers for all my systems except for my NES and SNES games: I know what I want to do with my SNES games, I just have out how to do it.

My NES template was probably my most challenging template, because I made each logo and background myself (yes, I ninja'd some logos and such from the templates provided by Shenke and Wiggy for my other templates). I'm now starting to make my NES covers and am deciding what colour background I should go for: I have black, blue, green, crimson red, grey, and purple. I've just made my covers for Battletoads and Metal Gear and thinking, "well, damn... Metal Gear looks awesome in this colour, but Battletoads looks good with this colour."

So, I guess the point of this post is to ask for advice. Should I sacrifice uniformity for what I think looks good, or should I choose the colour that looks best on all my covers and just go with that for the sake of uniformity? I know it's a trivial question, but ink and paper cost money, so I would rather only having to print my covers once.  ::)

If you want/need the template to better answer this question, let me know.

Thanks for anyone who reads and responds.

Drav. :)
